Join Doug @ 10:30 am EST (Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021) for the real pay dirt, to learn how the New Testament Epistles were orginally chosen by a man named Marcion of Sinope, a man who was branded a heretic by his contemporaries for believing and promoting (starting his own church no less) these ideas:

1. The "Old Testament" God was a cruel tyrant (a demiurge) who was a jealous guardian of the Jews and not the same God that sent Jesus. 2. Paul was the only real apostle that preached the real truth about the gospel. 3. Basically eliminated three of the four gospels, but especially the Gospel of John. Created a single "gospel" mostly derived from Luke (but with changes lessening the siting of the OT). 4. Also "adjusted" the epistles to eliminate or lessen the impact of any Old Testament sitings. 5. James, 1 John and Revelation (the writings that call us to account) were not part of his canon. As early as the second century, what has defined the modern Church, that is, relying on the writings attributed to Paul to define the gospel while overriding and/or excluding the Words of Jesus (to various degrees) had already begun. Even though Jesus sited and called upon the First (not Old) Testament writings time and time again, and even preached Himself from the First Testament, as well as said not one jot or tittle would be done away with until heaven and earth pass and all is fulfilled. During Marcion's day, his contemporaries branded him a heretic and casted him out the Church, but he started his own, collected any of the epistles attributed to Paul he could get his hands on (there was pseudepigrapha), as well as making one gospel (mostly from Luke) instead of four, and adjusting them all to remove to much attribution to the First Testament. And even though he had been cast out, the so called "church fathers" who came after him, used his collection of epistles as the basis for what would be in the New Testament we read today. Is it any wonder that we have what we have today? False gospels like "Once Saved Always Saved," "Jesus Did It All (no repentance required," "Pre-trib rapture," etc. And, is it any wonder that Martin Luther, who started the supposed "Reformation," also excluded James, 1 John and Revelation, all of which hold us to account for our behavior? The reformation itself has been run like a Hegelian dialectic. The reformed "Protestant" Churches reject the extra-biblical works of the Catholic Church (while still practicing paganism) while also rejecting the works of God (keeping His commandments) because you "can't do it" according to the epistles. Do you see? Dive deep on this one so you can learn the psyop that has been conducted on us all from the earliest days of the Church to turn us from serving the True and Living God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who sent His Only Son Jesus Christ the Righteous to live out HIS WORD (THE FIRST TESTAMENT) and to teach and empower us to do the same. JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY, THE ONLY TRUTH, AND THE ONLY LIGHT. HE IS THE FIRST TESTAMENT. HE IS GOD'S WORD. I feel this is the most important podcast I will have ever done. Many people who call themselves Christians who have studied in seminaries know this information, and have not shared it with us. Why? Because the epistles set up the infrastructure to control and "fleece" the sheep. Whereas the gospel of Jesus provides freedom and a service to Him and Him alone as the One True Shepherd, the epistles set out to build hierarchies of men that translators (especially "king" James and his "archbishop" Richard Bancroft) made sure they maintained and reinforced so the religious powers that be would remain in power, even in front of Christ, forever. But once you get free of the epistles and focus on the Gospel that Jesus brought in Matthew, John, 1 John and Revelation, all confusion falls away and you know who you serve: The True Father and His Son Jesus Christ The Righteous.
